About Dr Heath Adams
Dr Heath Adams is the clinical lead for Structural Intervention in the Department of Cardiology at the Royal Hobart Hospital. He is a member of the Cardiac Society of Australia Interventional Council and has pioneered structural cardiology since 2020 in Tasmania, performing the first Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), Mitral valve implantation and repair and left atrial appendage closure in Tasmania. He is an author of over 50 manuscripts and numerous book chapters on valvular heart disease and interventional cardiology
